Yellow corn also known as maize is produced all over the world however as India, Myanmar, USA, Argentina & Brazil are very well established for top grade quality, we prefer working with our farming facilities in these regions. As an annual seasonal crop & is replanted every year like other cereal grasses wheat & rice. Freshly harvested yellow corn at its peak ripeness is sweet, offering unique flavours of almond and sugar. As the corn matures, the kernels lose their milky consistency giving way to a starchy and doughy texture. At this point, corn is considered a grain crop and is suited at this stage for human consumption or feedstock.

It is a rich source of dietary fiber, Vitamins B1, B5 and C, phosphorus, manganese, and folate. Yellow corn is used mainly for human consumption as well as animal feed. It is also used within various industries as filler for plastics, insulating materials, adhesives, paints, chemicals, alcohol additives for gasoline, cooking oil, margarine, sweeteners etc. It is also used as a study plant in most academic disciplines such as genetics, biochemistry etc.

As corn kernels mutate from white to yellow, they acquire chemicals called carotenoids, one of which is beta carotene, which produces specific vitamins preventing possible blindness, thus where corn is heavily relied upon as a food source, this could actually keep millions of children from going blind. Yellow corn is now being cultivated to have at least 10 times higher the amount of beta carotene than average sweet corn varieties.

The less sweet Yellow corn is cooked, the better the flavor and texture. Yellow corn can be roasted, grilled, blanched, steamed, or pureed. Its bright and sweet flavors lend well to pastas and salads. It pairs well with tomatoes, basil cilantro, lobster, pork, chiles, truffles, shelling beans, cream, nutty cheeses, peas, summer squashes, fennel, citrus and scallops. Yellow corn can also be dried and ground into flour for baked goods, tortillas, cereals and used as a crust/crisping agent for dishes both savory and sweet. Corn is also used for oil, as a sweetener in foods and beverages and as a base for beverage alcohol. There are various grades yellow corn available in the market like grade 1, 2 and 3 and we mainly supply the yellow corn grade 1 and 2 with the following specification which are widely used for human consumption as well as animal feed.
